Why You’ll Love Them
Deliciously balanced: Sweet, tangy, and savory all in one bite

Versatile: Great as an appetizer, main dish, or party snack

Simple ingredients: Easy to make with pantry staples

Make-ahead friendly: Perfect for prepping in advance or freezing

Ingredients
For the Meatballs (or use store-bought frozen):

1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

1/3 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

For the Glaze:

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Optional: red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick

Instructions
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, mix together all meatball ingredients until combined. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until cooked through.

Make the Glaze
While the meatballs bake, combine brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.

Coat the Meatballs
Transfer baked meatballs to a skillet or pot. Pour glaze over them and toss to coat. Simmer for another 5–7 minutes, allowing the glaze to soak in and become sticky.

Serve
Serve warm as an appetizer with toothpicks, or as a main dish over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.
