Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (or thighs), diced

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh lemon zest for extra flavor

Instructions
Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the pan. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Sauté Garlic and Add Broccoli
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the broccoli and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.

Add Pasta and Liquids
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Add uncooked pasta and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
