1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1–2 tablespoons milk (optional, for thinning)

👨‍🍳 How to Make Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls
1. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Add sugar, melted butter, egg, cocoa powder, food coloring, and salt. Mix well.

Gradually stir in flour until a dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.

2. Add the Filling
Roll the dough into a 14×9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Roll tightly into a log and slice into 9–12 rolls.

3. Let Rise Again
Arrange the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30–45 minutes.

4. Bake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20–25 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked through.

5. Frost and Serve
While the rolls are cooling slightly, whisk together all frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Spread over warm rolls and serve immediately.
