Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: ~30 minutes

🥩 For the Steak Bites:

1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

🍝 For the Pasta:

8 oz medium shell pasta

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

ÂĽ cup reserved pasta water

Fresh parsley (optional), for garnish

Extra Parmesan, for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ÂĽ cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. Prepare the Steak Bites

Pat steak pieces dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches) and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, scraping up any browned bits from the steak.

3. Make the Sauce

Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, cream, and reserved pasta water. Mix until the sauce coats the pasta and thickens slightly, about 2–3 minutes.

Add the steak bites back into the skillet. Toss everything together so the steak gets coated in the garlicky, cheesy sauce.

4. Serve and Devour

Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot—and prepare for silence at the table while everyone digs in.
