🛒 Ingredients:
8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

½ lb smoked sausage, sliced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon butter

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional: chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, or lemon wedges for garnish

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:
Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Sear the sausage & shrimp
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Cook sliced sausage until browned, then remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook shrimp with a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning for about 1–2 minutes per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.

Build the sauce
In the same pan, melt the butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Parmesan cheese and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add more Cajun seasoning if you like it spicy.
