🛒 Ingredients
You only need a handful of ingredients to create potato perfection:
2 lbs baby potatoes or Yukon Gold potatoes
2–3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika (optional, for color and warmth)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh herbs (like rosemary, thyme, or parsley), chopped
Optional: grated parmesan for extra flavor and crispiness
🔪 How to Make Them
1. Boil the Potatoes
Place potatoes in a pot of salted water and boil until fork-tender (about 15–20 minutes). Drain and let them cool slightly.
2. Smash & Season
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the potatoes on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use the bottom of a glass or mug to gently press and flatten each one.
Brush with olive oil or melted butter, then sprinkle garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs over the top. Add grated parmesan if using.
