Roast Beef Sliders with Horseradish Cream & Cheddar: Bold Flavor in Every Bite
Looking for the perfect game day snack, party appetizer, or satisfying weeknight dinner? Roast Beef Sliders with Horseradish Cream & Cheddar check every box. These savory little sandwiches pack a serious punch with tender roast beef, sharp cheddar cheese, and a zesty homemade horseradish cream — all layered on soft slider rolls and baked to golden perfection.
These aren’t your average sliders. They’re bold, rich, and utterly crave-worthy.
Why These Sliders Stand Out
It’s the combination of textures and flavors that makes this dish unforgettable. The juicy roast beef pairs beautifully with the creamy heat of horseradish, while the melted cheddar adds a classic, sharp bite. Whether you’re serving them hot out of the oven or at room temperature, these sliders disappear fast.
Ingredients
For the Sliders:
12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
1 lb sliced deli roast beef (or leftover roast beef)
6–8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing tops)
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
For the Horseradish Cream:
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp prepared horseradish (more or less to taste)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Mix the Horseradish Cream
In a small bowl, combine sour cream, horseradish, Dijon mustard, lemon juice (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste and adjust the heat to your liking.
Assemble the Sliders
Slice the rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached as a single sheet if possible. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Spread a layer of horseradish cream on the bottom buns, then top with roast beef and cheddar slices. Spread more horseradish cream on the top buns before placing them on top.
